Abhinav Ra
I've worked in systems programming involving operating systems, compilers, languages where I tried to build performant systems and tackle their challenging problems.
During the day, I mostly work with the Linux kernel and its ecosystem and try to make some sense of all the complexity while I grok around it.
Though a physics boffin, over the years I have grown interested in some of the subfields of computer science like Turing machines, automata, graph theory and other conceptually arcane topics after I did EE in college.
While exploring the deep space, I've been trying not to get intimidated by the depth and vastness of the various topics in the sciences and natural world, and appreciate that there's always so much more to discover.
In my precious spare time I mostly try to work on my hobby projects involving some rigorous methods, mainly independent research in the topics that I enjoy subsuming in (that I'm steadfastly trying to allocate more time to) believing in the dilettante to connoisseur pipeline,
or whatever else strikes my fancy. That is just to say I enjoy revelling in their oft contradictory complexities trying to wrap my head around these curious things.
I did my bachelors in EE under Anna University.

Research
My interests in computing include old school UNIX systems, compilers, languages, AGI, Hidden Markov model, computational biology, Turing machines,
combinatorics, λ-calculus and analysis of algorithms.
Much of my (unacademic) physics 'research' was devoted to theoretical and relativistic physics, and revolveed around differential geometry, semi-Riemannian manifolds, affine geodesics, causal structures.
I also like to dabble recreationally in literature, biology, history and music.
